We may be underwater photographers, but we’re suckers for a great drone shot (or video), and SkyPixel’s annual Aerial Storytelling Contest is definitely one of the most exciting competitions of its kind to follow. Among the recently announced winners and finalists in the 2020 edition is an especially awesome image, Karim Iliya’s fabulous shot of a playful humpback whale calf launching itself out of the water—which clinched the Annual Award.

Meanwhile, in the video category, Ellis Van Jason won the top prize for his mind-blowing FPV—that’s first person view—film captured over Portugal’s island of Madeira.
