If you’re in the market for a high-end video camera bristling with high-tech features, look no further than the newly announced URSA by Blackmagic Design, which packs an eye-popping 10-inch fold-out touch screen monitor, swappable sensor, dual CFast card slots, built-in stereo microphones as well as double XLR inputs for audio recording, and VU meters.

The changeable sensor design allows the user to swap out the standard Canon EF lens mount and 4K Super 35 image sensor for a PL lens mount with a similar sensor. There are also plans for a broadcast B4 mount and a sensor-less HDMI input mount, facilitating dedicated ProRes recording and monitoring.

All that technological wizardry comes at a price—$5,995 for the URSA EF model—but for pros unprepared for compromise, it could well be worth the outlay.
