By Matt J. Weiss, April 1, 2009 @ 01:00 AM (EST)

Editor's Note

This is the second installment of our Beneath The Sea 2009 coverage and it includes another great interview. This time with Matthew Addison, a rebreather guru. Also, a very big thank you to Matthew who helped out with booth. Additionally, we visited Berkley White at the Backscatter East and West booth. Berkley was featuring the wide breadth of point and shoot cameras that are available on the market from waterproof Olympus stylus 1030 to the very advanced Canon G10. Check out the video to see Berkley's favorite set-up. Lastly, Zale Perry jumps into the pool. To see the rest of the coverage, check back to the show coverage homepage. Enjoy the show.

Words and video by Rick Morris

In this second installment on Beneath the Sea I have chosen to highlight some true words of wisdom from two really talented image-makers, Mathew Addison and Berkley White. Matt speaks to the benefits of re-breathers while shooting and Berkley discusses some of his picks for great point and shoot auto/manual cameras.

To finish off the film I also put together a short montage on this years Legend of Diving, Zale Parry, who played Lloyd Bridges love interest on the famed underwater TV series, “Sea Hunt”. This show ran from 1958 – 1962 and is still constantly discussed as a motivating factor in many divers choosing to learn to dive, myself included.
