Beneath The Sea 2011 Kicks Off

The 35th Annual Beneath the Sea consumer dive show got underway this evening, as crowds of excited East-coast divers rushed into the Meadowlands Exposition Center, just minutes from Manhattan.
Although the majority of the first night of the expo was spent setting up the DPG booth and talking to visitors, I did have some time to run around the show to see some of the sights and sounds of the show, before spending the next two days covering the latest and greatest photo/video equipment.

As I mentioned before, tomorrow we will have a full report of the latest dive news, celebrity sightings, and –of course- new equipment! Hopefully these pictures were just enough to wet your appetite before the main course tomorrow! Until then....
