Behind the Scenes of a Viral Great White Shark Photo
If you’ve checked your social media accounts lately, you’ve likely seen a now-viral image of a great white shark with jaws wide open coming right up to an underwater camera.
Now, the filmmakers behind the Shark Week shoot have shared their story in a promo video. Photographer Dave Riggs calls the shark “one of the most remarkable animals [he’s] ever seen.”
The subject, a 14-foot-long juvenile great white, used his mouth to “sniff out” the filmmakers, eventually leading to the jaw-dropping image. Check out the video below for the full story.
