Aquatech has accounced its new REFLEX housing for the Hasselblad X1D II 50C. The medium format camera features a 50-megapixel CMOS sensor with a 14-stop dynamic range, 2.7fps continuous shooting, and records 2.7K video at 30fps.

The glass-filled polycarbonate housing features stainless steel and hard anodized aluminum controls, and works with Aquatech’s P-series and PD-series ports, providing compatibility with Hasselblad XCD lenses. The housing is depth-rated to just 10 meters (33 feet).

Available now, the REFLEX housing retails for $1,695.

Borrowing elements from the hugely popular Elite II Housing lines and moving forwards with a new hinged back design, the REFLEX is the next step in the evolution of AquaTech Water Housings.

Combining the Hasselblad X1D II 50C medium format camera with the REFLEX Water Housing offers photographers an unmatched experience in capturing images of the highest quality in an ergonomic and compact design. Whether you’re shooting commercial, fine art, fashion, or any project that demands only the best, the REFLEX Water Housing with the Hasselblad X1D II 50C is the perfect combination to get the job done.

The REFLEX Water Housing features our interchangeable P-Series and PD-Series Lens Port system which supports a vast range of Hasselblad XCD lenses. Camera control is offered via tactile push button controls on the housings backplate, allowing simple and intuitive control over important camera settings. The REFLEX is equipped with 2 quick release clips for closing and securing (with safety latches), an ergonomic zoom control, a ¼”-20 tripod mounting point, and 2 of our new electronic AF shutter release controls for effortless shooting in either portrait or landscape orientation.

The new hinged back design on the REFLEX makes setup quicker and easier than ever before. It requires only 2 clips to secure and locks the camera into place perfectly every time.

The REFLEX Water Housing is also compatible with our M3 Pistol Grip, LUX Flash Housing (Nikon version) and SYNC Transmitter Housing (Nikon version).
