Winning images for April’s underwater photo contest have been selected! The theme for March was "crustaceans" and the winner of the contest and $200 gift certificate from Backscatter! is Davide Lopresti.
David not only managed to find these crustaceans inside the mouth of a fish, but also nailed this very unique shot. Well done!
In second place was Tobias Friedrich with a shot of two squat lobsters who posed perfectly for his camera.
Third place went to Maria Rivarola with a nice close of up of a porcelain crab with eggs.
The judges for the February contest were DPG Editors Matt Weiss and Joe Tepper, as well as award winning photographers Keri Wilk, Jeff De Guzman, Mark Fuller, and Steve De Neef.
