By Joseph Tepper, October 24, 2012 @ 05:46 PM (EST)
In case you haven’t gotten your fill of Apple announcements this week – there’s been new iMacs and Macbook Pros – the company slipped in a significant upgrade to its Final Cut Pro X software.
Version 10.0.6 adds support to the RED camera line, with both native Redcode Raw editing transcoding it to Apple’s ProRes format. The update also includes new multichannel audio editing tools to the timeline, dual views to compare multiple shots, and support for chapter markers.
More details on the update can be found on Apple’s support page here.
