Aperture & Acronyms
Our good friend, and Aperture pro, Gunther Deichmann posted a helpful reminder of some of the common acronyms used in digital photography today. Some are specific to Aperture (of course Gunther is the region's foremost Aperture expert), but most are common to all digital photographyapplications and pertinent to all of us.
He explians - Adobe RGB (1998) & sRGB color space, Adjustments HUD , Hue, EXIF, ICC profile, IPTC Short, Metadata, and RAW files.
These terms may be old news to many of you, but for those new to digital photography, it's a great primer into a world that can be a little daunting at first glance - but trust me, once you beging the ride, you'll want to hang on and stay on forever!
