Eilat hosts unique underwater photography exhibit by Noam Kortler
We're always proud to report when a fellow underwater photographer does something unique, or otherwise creates more awareness for the ocean and for underwater imagery. Well, Noam Kortler, an award winning photographer and owner of Nemo Divers in Eilat, Israel, just became one of those guys.
Noam's unique underwater photography exhibition is titled “Treasures of the Sea”, will take place at Bar Beach, Eilat, October 4-6, 2007. He will be displaying 40 underwater photographs ...underwater. The images are printed on the new NUR Tempo™ Q on foam PVC boards.
On Thursday, October 4, at 20:00 the mayor of Eilat will officially open the under water exhibition. During the cocktail, the images will be taken out of the water and placed on display on the beach, where the audience can buy/order images. 10% of the sales of this evening will go to cancer research.
Noam has won or placed in many international underwater imagery competitions over the last several years, including all the Wetpixel & DivePhotoGuide competitions and the Red Sea Sandisk competition. I'm sure this isn't the last we'll see of this talented up and comer.
