In California and fancy a day of inspiring talks—with some music and dance throw in for good measure? Then mark your calendar with this year’s TEDx event at Berkeley, dubbed “TEDxBerkeley 2023: Channel X,” on January 28th.
Among the presenters is underwater photography legend (and DPG contributor) Amos Nachoum, who, as one of the world’s foremost big-animal shooters, has visited some of the planet’s most far-flung locations to capture everything from polar bears and snow leopards to blue whales and leopard seals.
The event takes place on Saturday, January 28th, from 10am to 5pm PST. Head over to the TEDxBerkeley website to find out more about the speakers and purchase tickets. Check out our Photographer of the Week article on Amos, our story on Amos photographing polar bears, and our look at Amos’ latest book with fellow photographer Marko Dimitrijevic, BIG.
