Every year, underwater photographers by the dozens flock to one of the biggest events in the industry: the Digital Shootout.
The week-long event gives participants the chance to work and learn from industry pros, put their skills to the test in a photo/video shootout and get their hands on the hottest new gear.

Our friends over at Backscatter have just put up their coverage from the 2013 Digital Shootout, which attracted more than 60 intrepid underwater photogs. The coverage includes the winners from the imaging contests, as well as first hand trials of some of all the latest gear.

Phillip Seys nabbed the Best in Show award for his image of a seahorse taken with a Nightsea setup, while Joe Robinson’s video received first place. You can check out the complete results here.
