January 2013 Photo Contest
DPG is very proud to announce the winners of our January Monthly Photo Contest.
The theme for the month was “Macro” and the winner of a free subscription to Scuba Diver-Through the Lens magazine is Peter G Allinson.
Peter nabbed the judges’ votes with is fantastic capture of a pair of jawfish jawin’ off at each other.
Second place went to Moritz Drabusenigg for a stunning image of a tiny algae shrimp. Wahrmut Sobainsky captured third place with shot of a snooted hiding grab in Indonesia.
As always, a big thank you to our all-star team of judges, who help sift through hundreds of images each month- DPG editors Matt Weiss and Joseph Tepper, Keri Wilk, Jeff De Guzman, Steve De Neef, Tobias Friedrich and Mark Fuller.

Scuba Diver AustralAsia, the premier dive magazine in Asia, has teamed up with DivePhotoGuide.com, a world leader in underwater photography media and Edition Fifty Fathoms, the prestigious art photo magazine collectible, to create Scuba Diver Through The Lens, the first international underwater photography magazine.
Scuba Diver Through The Lens will be published quarterly in both a print and digital format by Asian Geographic in Singapore and will be distributed globally through New York and Germany.
