Biography of Underwater Photographer Derek broussard

Born and raised in seattle. I learned at a very young age to be comfortable in the water.
23 yrs later I moved to oahu and learned to freedive. Now I\\\'ve never felt more at home.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
freedive friendly

Great article!
I would like to point out that freediving isn't just for warm, clear water. I have spent many hours freediving around the world in all sorts of water. No matter if it was a cold mountain lake, the green waters of the puget sound, or the warm hawaiian waters, Freediving was an amazing experience.

This housing is small, well built and has full controls.

My biggest grip about this housing is it only has two latches.

My first dive with the housing it leaked. Luckily It was on a test dunk and My camera was ok. After that day the housing has been pretty reliable.

I think that if it had four latches( top, bottom, and both sides) I would have much more piece of mind.

This camera is a pretty solid camera. Well built, great features, bright lcd, GREAT image quality and fast shutter speed.

The biggest problem I have with the camera is its horrible autofocusing. When diving in blue water or with a blue background often times the camera will not shoot because nothing has been focused on. Very frustrating when your trying to dive.
