Biography of Underwater Photographer Tony Wu

Since having his toe pinched by a crab as a child, Tony has been obsessed with the inhabitants and ecosystems of the sea. Combining this with his love of visual art, Tony has been photographing marine life since he acquired his first camera housing in the early 1990s. Tony has received numerous awards for his writing and images, including the Book of the Year prize at Antibes for Silent Symphony. Tony contributes to publications worldwide, most regularly FiNS Magazine in Asia, and he has also filmed and appeared in documentaries for NHK television in Japan.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
From a technical/ qualifications point of view, four main things, passion, integrity, knowledge and experience. From a personal point of view — someone who doesn\'t take himself too seriously and can always see the bright side of things; in other words, someone you don\'t mind spending bad weather days with.
