Actually I have the DS50 with the upgraded electronics. I loaned it to a friend one time and he managed to flood it. Returned the strobe to Ikelite who provided me with a new DS 50 with the upgraded electronics for minimal cost. Still use this one as my second strobe along with a DS160. I have had no problems using this with either a small digital or DSLR camera.

This was my second camera for underwater. The first was a P&S. I still use it mainly because of the cost to replace the housing for a new DSLR. It is very reliable, but there is a bit of a lag with the shutter.
