Biography of Underwater Photographer Terry Brasher

Certified in Spring of 2008. Having logged only 81 dives, Bonaire Sept 2010 was the first time I had underwater camera in my hand. The new Sealife DC1200 is a great camera! And I really enjoyed taking pics.

Purchased before trip to Bonaire in 2010. New to underwater photography. This camera was SUPER easy to use: quick and easy to change settings while underwater, good balance in hand, terrific quality without external flash even at 40 feet with mod vis (tropical storms in the area). Video capability was an unexpected delightful bonus! Battery life was only about 1 hr, averaging 250 pics per dive, so I had to change battery between dives. Strongly suggest buying 2nd battery. 12MP allows cropping to pick out critters I didn't even know I'd gotten! Macro quality great. Highly recommend! Strobe isn't even necessary down to 40 - 50 ft. depending on vis.
