Raja Ampat is truly pygmy seahorse capital of the world. During 10 days safari we observed 4 different species of these cute little animals. Photo above shows rare moment with two Hippocampus Denise, one of the smallest species, size of adult is just about half centimeter. It took me about 20 minutes on the depth of 24 meters to capture series of images with both seahorses in focus.

This shot is done with new Sigma 70mm lens that is characterised as super-sharp in many reviews and is not recommended for portrait photography because of that. After resizing picture I had to apply unusually low amount of sharpening, this lens is really rocks for macro, I recommend it to everyone !
