Biography of Underwater Photographer Sally Davies
My life as an underwater photographer started when I trained under Claudia Pellarini at Fin Photo at Stuart Cove's in the Bahamas. After photographing a million sharks I have since worked as a diving instructor/underwater photographer in Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia and am now running my very own diving center with my husband, Chris, in Saint Martin in the French West Indies. Octopus Diving. Unfortunately, once you own your own diving center, it turns out there is less time taking photos, and more time running the business. Hopefully it won't be like that forever, as I love taking photos.
What I look for in a Dive Operator:
I look for low numbers on the boat, photo friendly boats and staff, and flexibility on choosing dive sites.
