Fantastic housing for the G9 camera. The main feature is that you can hardwire the ikelite strobes into the camera (not working on fibre optics) which means you can get automatic exposure control from the strobe. The housing is quite bulky to compensate for the solid structure (keeping in only slightly negative in the water) which makes it a little painful for travel but if you are serious about your photography it's a hassle you will deal with. If i were to purchase again, I would prob get the dual arm housing for a bit more stability when using the video function on the G9 (not that it's amazing video). I've had one in the water for around 2 years now and with very little maintanence it's working like a dream.

Very fast recycle time, battery that usually lasts me 10-15 dives and using ikelites TTL hardwiring into the ikelite housing, it is all automatic (can obviously be manual setting too). Only drawback is that it is extremely heavy on land which makes it quite a pain to travel with, 4 stars!

I've been shooting with this camera for around 2 years and have never found a situation it couldn't cope with. The only draw back is that the video feature is quite grainy in even moderate light, that being said, you buy a stills camera for stills not for video, five stars
