Biography of Underwater Photographer Gordon R. Tillen

I was inspired early by the TV series Seahunt, and it has been a love affair with the ocean ever since. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world because I retired to the center of the Coral Triangle and get to pursue both my hobby and my passion on a daily basis. I never dive without a camera as I'm sure I will miss some great moment. I don't mix money with my photography so it allows me to do it for the passion, love and fun of it all. Life is good here in the Philippines!

Nice shot! It is very rare to see them yawn and they do it very fast. Good timing!

Good thing they sit very very still. Your patience is amazing.

Very special moment, I bet you were surprised and delighted. I might add prepared for the shot. Very nice!

Timing is everything. It is hard to get seahorses to do what you want. I really like this shot.

I love this picture Annie. It's simple, sharp and brilliant. Less is really more.
