Fabrice Jaine

Freelance photographer Fabrice Jaine has been shooting photographs since late 2008. After travelling to Australia and South Africa, Fabrice quickly became keen to capture and share some of the amazing scenes he witnessed. Specializing in underwater and nature photography, his work strives to increase public awareness through the appreciation of nature in all its forms.

Fabrice was born and raised in southern France, on the Mediterranean coastline. There, he grew up exploring the local fauna and flora and quickly became passionate about the marine realm. As an avid free diver and scuba diver, Fabrice has always loved being in and around water. It only took him few years before he was sure that he wanted to play a role in protecting the oceans worldwide. He thus undertook studies in Marine Biology and Ecology in France and later transferred to Australia. Fabrice is today conducting research on the movements of marine megafauna, with a special focus on manta rays. Fabrice’s goal is to communicate his passion for the marine world to the general public, but also his concern for the current threats to the sustainable future of our planet.
