Biography of Underwater Photographer David R Andrew

I love to Dive! I am a PADI Master Scuba Diver and digital underwater photographer. I love the ocean and the beauty of the underwater world. I am happy to be able to share this beauty with you!

David's images are inspired by his surroundings - both at home and around the world. The galleries presented here cover his native California along with scenes throughout the California Channel Islands, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Indonesia focusing on the beauty of the Underwater World.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
Professionalism, excellent guides, boats that are not over-crowded, large rinse tanks and experience working with photographers.

This is an excellent camera for underwater photography. The sensor is rated higher than either the Nikon D300 or D300s. It's great in low light situations. All of the pictures on this site were taken with the Nikon D90.
