Biography of Underwater Photographer Christian Loader
I've been working for Scubazoo Images as a videographer & photographer since 2007.
I spent 3 fantastic years based in the Maldives at 'Four Seasons Resorts' and 'Holiday Inn Kandooma', filming and photographing daily the epic marine life of the Maldives, of which Manta Rays and Whale Sharks were the highlights.
I am currently managing The Digital Centre, in association with Eco Divers at 'Kima Bajo Resort' & 'Lembeh Cottages' in north Sulawesi, Indonesia.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
Photographer-friendly dive operator is essential for me! Detailed knowledge of dive sites and specific marine life to be found there. Experienced, patient dive guides. Small dive groups. Well-equipped dive boats, with an emphasis on safety. Reasonable $$$ is a bonus!

thank you sebastien and steve! I've seen 2 of these on 1 sea fan at a dive site here for the last 3 months, but unfortunately just 3 days ago they disappeared which is a shame. Maybe they just packed up and moved on! So i'm now critter hunting for some more :-)

absolutely fantastic shot Magnus! i saw your portfolio in the wetpixel quarterly, and love your work. This shot has so much atmosphere. The glassfish tornado is also one of my favourites. Im trying out some shots using slower shutter speeds and rear curtain flash, but havent got the desired shot yet! All the best, Christian
