Biography of Underwater Photographer Robert C. Pooley

1967: 1st Scuba Dive in FLA
1970: NAUI Open Water
1980: USCG Captain Lic.
1983: PADI Open Water Instructor
2004: Got more serious about u/w photography - prefer macro.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
Boats with less than 16 divers. I try to avoid resorts that cater to large groups. Locations for advanced divers with no more than 6 divers per dive guide.
I mostly rely on referrals from fellow SDUPS members and other divers that I've met.

Great video! I would be great service to the diving public in general to release this video with a public domain license. It should be required viewing at every dive resort, liveaboard, et al.

Very, very cool!

Pricey, but if you're into macro it's the top-of-the-line "L" series lens. The IS feature is very handy.

The deepest blues I've seen. Pricey, but takes really clean shots.

I've had mine for 4 yrs. with no problems.

No complaints with anything from Ikelite. It's a heavy housing out of the water. I had an clip ring break inside the camera at 40' and was able to get to the surface without getting the camera wet because I could see the water starting to come-in. Ikelite rebuild the TTL board at no charge.

I upgraded from a Xti and have no complaints. The video isn't very versatile due to the lack of continuous auto-focus. But, it's a step in the right direction.
