Biography of Underwater Photographer Bonnie Pelnar

From the first images Bonnie captured with a rental Motormarine during a 1987 Cozumel dive trip, she was hooked. Her hobby became a passion and her passion became a career. Now she lives out her dream to travel the world as a photographer, producer and designer. Her company Under Watercolours, which started over nine years ago with a small line of greeting cards, has grown to be world-renowned as she markets the dive and travel industry with her underwater photography, graphic designs, multimedia CD ROMs and award-winning web sites. Bonnie has recently teamed up with Marty Snyderman to create a series of online courses about underwater photography and the digital workflow for underwater photographers, which is online at www.theunderwaterphotographer.com. For more information about Under Watercolours and Bonnie\'s escapades visit www.underwatercolours.com. For prints and stock photography visit www.uwcstock.com.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
I\'ve captured my best images with the help of local dive guides, so attentive, ambitious guides are important to me. I appreciate a dive operator who allows me to break away from the group or park myself in one spot if needed, and does what they can do to help me achieve my goals.

If you plan to use the Loc-Line attachment make sure you attach a line to the light. Brand new, out of the box the screw loosened and my light just fell off underwater. It was lost for a week and fortunately someone found it and returned it to me. I've heard from a dealer that now they are using Loctite, but the first batch of lights that went out did not have it.
