Biography of Underwater Photographer Angus Walsh

Originally from Zimbabwe, I consider Aliwal Shoal my home dive site, my wife and I have a house in Umkomaas. Love it there, we have dived in a few locations - Kenya, Red Sea, Maldives and Oman still think Aliwal is my preferred location. I dont think my life is going to be long enough to dive in all the places I want to go to - maybe I should stop working and go diving........

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
Professionalism, an enthusiastic environment and genuine interest in the industry without being flaky about it.

make no mistake, the images are great..... in the same way a painting is great.

A comment I feel I have to make is that whilst the images are beautiful, they are beautiful in much the same way as when you have a look at the cover of Vogue magazine or similar, the photo's have been touched up (I believe) to such an extent that the photo now bears little resemblance to what was actually in front of the lense at the time......

As I add equipment so I take less and less clothing with me, heading for Sipadan soon and think the clothes I take will be a pair of Boardies and a T-Shirt :-)
