Underwater Photo Gallery: Marcus J Grant

A statue of Christ sat in 35 mts of water. This is the start of a dive to the Imperial Eagle wreck, which is the sister ship to Cousto’s Calypso. The statue was place at St Pauls island a few years ago when the late pope John Paul cam to visit Malta, but was later moved to its present location. Taken 800 meters off of Qawra Point, on Malta’s east coast.
