Biography of Underwater Photographer James Peake

I live by and dive in Port Phillip Bay in south eastern Australia. The rich temperate waters here support an incredibly diverse array of endemic species that constantly astound me. This is what led me to begin UWP now there is no turning back! I started off with a Fuji E900 in Ikelite with a DS125 and have recently upgraded to DSLR with a Nikon D90 in Nexus with Inon Z240 strobes.

Cheers,
Jim.

This is my first DSLR housing and have found it a joy to use. All the controls are very ergonomic and the housing is well balanced with both the 60mm macro port (MP60) and a custom made Compact Dome for the Tokina 10-17mm. Fibre Optic connectors was a big plus for me as wanted to use the light weight Inon Z240 strobes with this housing. My only gripe really is the lack of on-line information about Nexus equipment in English. For someone living far from any dealers it makes it difficult when researching for things like ports and gears. I have also added the Nauticam viewfinder to this housing which has made framing and composing images so much easier.

Going by this I can't wait to see what is announced for the D90 replacement.
