Biography of Underwater Photographer Bill Stewart
I've been doing photography since high school and underwater photography since August 2007. My work experience as a photographer includes time as a US Navy photographer, working for photographic services at Cape Canaveral, and finally as a photo lab manager and certified photographic consultant. I no longer shoot professionally but am really enjoying learning about an entire new side of photography :-)
I learned to dive in Virginia, but it was while living in Florida that I really fell in love with diving. I lived in Japan for 3 years and have over a 100 dives there. I've dived extensively throughout the Philippines having made 6 trips (so far) and close to 200 dives there. In 2010 I re-located to San Diego.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
A knowledgeable operator who focuses on customer service and dives appropriate to the experience of the diver. Show me something I haven't seen (or photographed) before and I am very happy :) Also important is a clear understanding on charges. Value for my money is what I really look for. Cheapest is not always the best, but if they are inexpensive AND good, then what else can you ask for? ;)
