Subal D300s

The Subal housing is NOT cheap, but is so well designed for easy use of all features on the Nikon D300. It fits like a glove. It is easy to use and makes U/W photography so much easier. I find that I use manual controls (as opposed to Program or other auto programs) for exposure much more often and get better results. This is definitely for the serious photographer because of cost. The body is rather heavy and takes up a lot of room in the luggage, but less than Ikelite housing. Changing lenses is easy, as is removing the camera for battery changes and media exchange. In other housings, I had to remove the camera from the base plate. With the Subal, that was not necessary. I absolutely LOVE this housing. I do wish that the housing would also fit the D700, but it's about 1/4 of an inch too small!
