Epoque ES-230 DS Auto

I've only just started using this, and have never owned a strobe before so have no point of comparison.

It seems to produce enough light for all macro shots, and some closer wide angle shots of fish in motion, etc. Great for bringing colour back into photographs. Can be a bit tricky to figure out positioning of, but that's just a general strobe thing I suppose.

Cons - the instruction manual is pretty dreadful, so it's hard to know if you're maintaining it properly. I've heard to battery compartment may flood and it isn't totally sealed from the working mechanism of the strobe so this may become an issue.

Currently getting to know it and quite happy so far!
