This is my first time as a digital housing user, previously I have used a Aquatica F3 housing. The main reason was reliability,I never had a problem with the F3. The first thing I noticed is the weight difference and size. It feels comfortable in the water.
Spoilt for choice in the control department, as you can imagine after using a film housing with 5 controls her I have countless options while underwater.
If there is one complaint it would be the Release button for the port, I find it a little awkward using it with the larger dome.
Adding to the previous review I found that on its first dive that it was very comfortable to use, light (depending on what you have attached to it) and nicely balanced in the water, no arm strain from holding onto it. Maybe one other slight modification would be to adjust the tray that holds the camera so that the battery door can swing open fully to allow the battery to be removed with out the tray being taken off. But I am still very happy with the unit.
