Underwater Housings

In order to shoot underwater photography, whether using a compact or SLR camera, you’ll need an underwater housing. Housings are not available for all camera models, so it is important to research the options available before making a decision on a camera. Underwater housings are primarily manufactured either out of polycarbonate, or aluminum, the latter being more durable, but of course also more expensive. Additional features to consider include access to all the camera functions you want, the type of connection to your strobes, port options, and available accessories.
