Hawaii based underwater photographer, Joshua Lambus, has a unique way of shooting the night dwellers off the coast of Hawaii. With the use of a special strobe he’s able to capture a sort of “color x-ray” view of fish, jellies, octopus, shrimp, plankton… just about anything.
Today’s Daily Mail online has a feature of Joshua’s work, and an interview with the photographer.
You can see more Joshua's unique blackwater images oh his website, Jlambusphoto.com, and in his DPG Gallery.
