Winners of July Monthly Contest Announced
DPG is very proud to announce the winners for our July monthly contest! The theme for last month’s contest was “behavior” and the winner of the $150 cash prize is Adriano Morettin!
Adriano managed to capture one of the most photographed behaviors underwater- a symbiotic cleaning. With the crisp colors and stark black background, his image also captured the attention of the judges.
Second place went to Goos van der Heide, who framed a shark during its dentist appointment. Mat Yie took home third place with the ironic image of an octopus hiding in a can labeled “do not litter.”
Again, a gracious “thank you” to the judges of this month’s contest: DPG editors Matt Weiss and Joseph Tepper, along with award-winning photographers Steve De Neef, Mark Fuller, Jeff De Guzman, and Keri Wilk. Congratulations to the winners and all who entered.
