Whale Washes Up On Massachusetts Shore

By Matt J. Weiss, September 24, 2008 @ 02:00 AM (EST)
On Tuesday, many people probably saw the only humpback they will ever see. Unfortunately it was dead. This was an interesting because it was spotted recently and blubber samples were taken from it. The cuts that were found on the whale were probably from researchers. The high winds over the weekend probably brought the whale in.

The New England Aquarium sent down scientists to help remove the badly decomposed whale.
