Video of the Week: Lembeh Strait Critter Highlights
By Joseph Tepper, February 24, 2013 @ 06:00 AM (EST)
If you had a year to dive anywhere in the world, where would you go? Galapagos? Hawaii? Great Barrier Reef?
For macro photography lovers, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t an instantaneous one-word response: “Lembeh.”
Steve Fish, the photo pro at Critters @ Lembeh and Lembeh Resort, has put together a macro-liscious video of his favorite highlights from 2012. From frogfish with mouths agape to mimic octopuses masquerading as starfish, the 15-minute long masterpiece has it all.
The video is whittled down from over 6000 separate “keeper” shots. And for those underwater photogs who haven’t practiced math other than calculating maximum operating depths, that’s over 500 keeper video shots per month.
So what are ya waiting for? Get your critter on?
