Video: Underwater Snowboard Photography?
By Matt J. Weiss, March 5, 2011 @ 03:59 PM (EST)
Note - Check out the full Behind The Shot article written by Scott Serfas that explains where he came up with idea and how he was able to execute it.
The fine folks who run the fantastic website Fstoppers.com have just posted an absolute gem. Scott Serfas, a snowboard and surf photographer, came up with a novel idea - combining snowboard photography with underwater photography.
The behind the scenes video takes you through the concept, but essentially Serfas created an artificial fish pond next to a quarter pipe. The split shot that came from the shoot is about as original as it gets. A lot of respect to Scott Serfas for pushing the limits of underwater photography. More info can be found here. Enjoy the video.
