By Joseph Tepper, November 29, 2011 @ 07:00 AM (EST)
There’s the saying “go big or go home.” But for Nat Geo’s Brian Skerry, the saying should be “go big...then go bigger.”
Skerry, who also has released a collection of his underwater work in “Ocean Soul,” is the feature of the latest Nat Geo behind the scenes video—“A Magical Day with a Right Whale.” In the video see some of Skerry’s breathtaking shot’s of an intimate Right whale encounter off of New Zealand and hear about an incredible experience. Enjoy!

its amazing how much control an animal that size has underwater. it can swim along the bottom without moving a grain of sand and swim beside a photographer without crushing him!
