This year's contest is open to amateur photographers -defined as someone who earns less than 20 percent of their income from photography- and will accept entries until March 28th. The contest is made up of five separate categories: Fish or Marine Animal Portrait, Macro, Wide Angle, Student, and Best Overall.
Winning images will be announced on April 20th at the Rosenstiel School’s Sea Secrets lecture and will be displayed in a traveling exhibit for the South Florida community. More information on the contest can be found on the official website or in the DPG events section.
