Our friends over at Asian Geographic have sent us this information on an interesting new community from Scuba Diver AustralAsia, Asian Diver and the Asia Dive Expo -- Underwater Threesome. Essentially, the site is a resource for those diving in Asia. There are multiple facets to the site that include a podcast, forum and marketplace, and e-shop. Three giants of the dive industry have joined forces to create a new online scuba diving platform: with a total of 63 years of publishing and event experience in the industry, Scuba Diver AustralAsia, Asian Diver and the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) are announcing the launch of Underwater Threesome (uw3some.com), a multi-component platform for scuba divers worldwide.
The forum enables scuba divers residing in and traveling to Asia to share their experiences in discussion topics including the latest news, destinations, travel tips, photography, videography, equipment, health and topside. Forum members can also head to a special section to buy and sell scuba equipment. A TV section, an e-shop, radio podcasts and e-magazines will be added to the website in several phases: this wide range of media will allow visitors to stay connected to the underwater world anywhere, anytime.
The official launch will take place during the Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) in Kuala Lumpur, between 30 July and 1 August 2010.
