When it comes to underwater photography, there is one rule that takes priority: safety first. With that in mind, underwater photographer and home engineer Jon Anderson has invented a housing mount for the Shearwater Teric to integrate the dive computer into your imaging system.
“I have designed a ball mount compatible with the Shearwater Teric that does just that, bringing all the critical information you need for a safe underwater shoot right above your housing viewfinder,” Jon writes on his website.
The mount is constructed from 3D printed plastic and features a standard 1-inch ball mount. Interestingly enough, the mount allows the user to “feel” alerts from the Teric via vibrations. The Teric mount are now available for order for $80 by contacting Jon directly. There is a two-week production time and shipping will be determined based on location. Learn more, here.
