By Matt J. Weiss, January 14, 2010 @ 01:54 AM (EST)
Toshiba showed its 64GB SDXC memory card that promises impressive specs. The card is slated to have a 60MB/s read and 35MB/s write time. Toshiba will also be releasing the less exciting 16 and 32 capacity SDHC card. Toshiba claimed to have first overall 64GB card in their press release in August, but it's spring release might mean they wont be the first to hit the market.
2010 has already been a big year for SD format cards with announcements of new lines from Sony and Panasonic and also the news that Olympus and Sony will allow use of the format rather than relying solely on their propriety formats.
