Three Dead Sea Turtles Wash Up On Massachusetts Shore

By Matt J. Weiss, September 20, 2008 @ 02:00 AM (EST)
Three sea turtles showed up the shores of Massachusetts, two badly decomposed and dead for a while and another recently dead. Its believed the recently drowned turtle was caught in a discarded fishing net.  The other two washed up during the heavy  storms of the hurricanes.  Its important to remember that hurricanes are a natural disaster and we can not do anything about their destruction. However, its things like hurricanes that are part of the reason we can not exploit animals like sea turtles or coral reefs.

The natural world already puts enough pressure on animals that every time we waist another sea turtle life, its hurts the species we wont be able to realize until natural disasters like this occur.
