Thousands Urge For Protection of Moreton Bay, Australia

Its nice to see that petitions get noticed. Sometimes I feel like people just hit the delete button when they are recieved-but in this case the numbers got noticed.
The Queensland government received more than 6,000 submissions for protection of the Moreton Bay. The current draft of the protection is set for 15 percent, but scientists say that is not enough.
If the Government did not want to listen to the scientists, now they have 6,000 voices to try to ignore!
A great effort to try and conserve a valuable resource!
