
The Humane Society Of The United States Protests Florida Shark Tournament

In Destin, Fla. this week, sharks will be killed in a tournament for financial gain and The Humane Society of the United States is urging the city to cancel this contest killing.
The HSUS sent a letter last week to Mayor Craig Barker asking that the tournament be stopped. The HSUS also plans to fly a banner over the Destin harbor and has placed advertisements in local media outlets. A significant number of local citizens have urged The HSUS to take action and are supporting this effort...
