Those of you hoping to get your hands on a bright and shiny NEX-7 EVIL camera will have to wait a little longer.
Sony Corporation will be postponing the launch of its NEX-7 EVIL camera, which was initially supposed to be released on November 11, due to severe flooding that disrupted the company’s Thai factory.
Reuters is reporting that the Sony has delayed releasing the NEX-7 and Alpha A65 indefinitely, while the company hopes to switch camera production to their factories in Japan. The NEX-7 is the replacement to the NEX-5, which we reviewed earlier this year in Curacao.
