With a busy week at DEMA, Light and Motion rolled out their latest series of the popular Sola video and focus lights.
Headlining the Light and Motion announcement was the release of the new Dive 800 to replace last year’s 600. The new 800 “gives a bump in power to the focus lights,” according to the press release.
In addition to the new light, prices for the 800 will drop to $699, the 1200 to $699 and 500 to $299. In 2012, all new Sola’s will be shipped with a 15-degree slant hand strap for hands-free diving. The 1200 will also include a lightweight “Pistol Grip,” which will also be sold as a separate accessory for the photo lights. In the video light department, Light and Motion unveiled their new Sola 4000 at DEMA last week, and announced today that it’s shipping for $1599. Also announced was the Sola 2000, which will feature an increased beam angle of 70 degrees and be available in December.
