Skin Elements USA, LLC. and Wyland Worldwide Announce Licensing Agreement

By Matt J. Weiss, December 17, 2008 @ 02:00 AM (EST)

Press Release

San Clemente, CA – Skin Elements USA, LLC, exclusive distributor of Soléo Organics All Natural
Sunscreen to the Americas, and Wyland Worldwide, LLC, internationally recognized marine artist
announce licensing agreement. Under the terms of the agreement Skin Elements USA, LLC. will
distribute its line of sunscreen products using Wyland® artwork and in return a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Wyland® Foundation.

“As a person dedicated to protecting and preserving the world’s aquatic environments I am always looking to partner with products and companies that share my vision,” says Wyland® President, Wyland Galleries, Inc. The Wyland® Foundation is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the world’soceans, waterways, and marine life. Wyland® adds, “Skin Elements has developed the world’s first biodegradable, aquatic friendly, family safe sunscreen that I am proud to associate my name, reputation, and vision with.”

“To combine the SE Formula’s biodegradable, family safe, highly water resistant, and environmentally
friendly sunscreen with the art of Wyland® will bring a new level of awareness to environmentally
conscientious consumers,” says Ken Nelson, Sr. VP, Skin Elements USA, LLC. “While most people know
they have to use sunscreen, they do not understand the environmental and human health impact of using a product that is not environmentally friendly, nor do they even realize there is an available choice like Soléo,” adds Nelson.

“According to National Geographic News, ‘Researchers estimate that 4,000 to 6,000 metric tons of
sunscreen wash off swimmers annually in oceans worldwide’, that is the equivalent of 15 million tubes of chemical UV absorber based sunscreen released into the world’s oceans annually, based on an
average eight ounce tube,” says Rick Sample, CEO, Skin Elements USA, LLC. Evidence is accumulating
that the chemicals in traditionally formulated sunscreens are helping to accelerate the threat to coral reefs due to sunscreen-induced bleaching. Sample adds, “The SE sunscreen formula offers an evolution of choice by providing a biodegradable sunscreen designed for avid water enthusiasts. Combining this
product with the educational message of Wyland® creates a powerful message for the the consumer to
hear.”
